Deshpande was brilliant in every way as Siddiqui’s wife in the pilot season; she wasn’t a slack jaw, though; she was important in the deconstruction of numerous plot threads. Even Siddiqui’s character’s passionate kiss said everything.
8. BOMBAY TALKIES
The kiss in this moving short film wasn’t strictly meant to be passionate, but it does explore gay shame and the choppy nature of desire. Rather, it was Randeep Hooda’s masterful depiction of queer frustration at its peak.
9. HUMAN
The series, which stars Kulhari and Shah as two doctors, has been receiving rave reviews for its fearless examination of controversial topics like medical negligence and unethical drug trials. Shah recently remarked in an interview that playing a stressed-out, difficult medic forced her to think “beyond gender” due to the kiss she had with Kulhari and the role in general.

Neeraj Ghaywan’s daring exploration of the junction of queerness and caste made this short film the finest of the Netflix anthology that dealt with various elements of love. The story of the short film revolved around the aforementioned kiss, which was little more than a peck.

Understandably, Ranaut is irritated and desperately wants to leave. That was an unbearable scene, even if the part called for it. Good news! Gehraiyaan is going to shatter that mold.
