When will The Witcher Season 4 start?
Fans will probably have to wait longer than usual for season 4 since shooting for the next episode hasn’t even started.
Writers and actors are still on strike, so work won’t start again until the AMPTP and the trade unions agree on a fair contract. Also, it takes longer to make a season of The Witcher than the average show.
After the show’s first season, which came out in 2019 and still has the most watchers, season 2 came out in 2021, and season 3 didn’t come out until 2023. New episodes likely won’t come out until the summer of 2025, according to Economic Times.
Who will be in The Witcher Season 4?
Aside from Liam Hemsworth’s first appearance as Geralt, all the main characters are expected to return for season 4. Production status of The Witcher Season 4
The production is getting ready to start. By May 2023, the story for The Witcher’s fourth season, which began in the fall of 2022, was prepared. But a Writers Guild of America strike on May 1, 2023, stopped work on Season 5. Even though the WGA went on strike, Netflix planned to start making shows in September 2023.
But when SAG-AFTRA called for a strike, the movie’s making was postponed until 2024. As of July 2023, Season 4 of The Witcher will start shooting in 2024. Plans for Season 5 are still unclear.
What will season 4 of ‘The Witcher’ be about?
As season 3, part 2, set up Nilfgaard’s plan to take over all the other countries. Season 4 will take place on a war-torn continent. As for book spoilers, season 4 will probably follow the story of the Witcher book Baptism of Fire. Season 3 was based on the book A Time of Contempt.
It will be different from the book because the show often changes the plots from the books (and has been criticized for it). One possible change would be to use parts from later books like The Tower of the Swallow or The Lady of the Lake to bring the main three characters back together faster.
