Udham Singh was born on 26th December 1899 in Sunam, Punjab. He was a great Indian revolutionary and freedom fighter belonging to the Ghadar Party. Sometimes Udham refers to as Shaheed-i-Azam Sardar Udham Singh. The British government hanged him on 31st July 1940 in Pentonville Prison, United Kingdom. He killed assassinating Michael O’ Dwyer, the former Lieutenant Governor of the Punjab in India on 13th March 1940.
