Sunil Gangopadhyay was a famous Bengali poet who was born 7 September 1934 who completed his education from University of Calcutta in 1954. He best known for “First Light (Prathama Alo)”, “Those Days (Sei Somoy)”, “East and West (Poorba Pashchim)” and Moner Manush. Sunil also reputed with Sahitya Akademi Award and Ananda Puraskar for his notable work.
