Parvez Imroz is a famous human right lawyer and civil rights activist in Srinagar. He is the founder and president of Jammu and Kashmir Coalition of Civil Society (JKCCS). He honored with Ludovic-Trarieux International Human Rights Prize by government. In 2007 he was also received Thorolf Rafto Memorial Prize. In 2008 he and his group exposed more than 7,000 mass graves in Sinagar.
