The strength of the passport is decided by the Henley Passport Index. Henley Passport Index is the global ranking ranking of the world’s passports which determines that how many countries or territories can be visited by the holders of the passport without visa or visa on arrival basis. this index is published annually. This data is based on the analysis by International Air Transport Association (IATA) which maintains the database of travel information. India has slipped from 74 rank in 2013 to 82 rank rank in 2019. Indians can travel to 58 countries without prior visa whereas Chinese can visit 86 countries . Pakistan has been ranked 86 and individuals can travel to 42 countries without visa according to Henley Index 2019.
