For the first time, more than 44 lakh farmers had got insurance. A survey was conducted by forming a joint team of crop damage and also made Panchnama for transparency. For the first time, tenant farmers of forest villages have been included in the insurance scheme. Along with this, it has also been decided that no farmer will be given an insurance amount of fewer than one thousand rupees.
