After this she participated in 2018 Bharat Kesri Dangal in that she won the Bharat kesri Title which was held at Bhiwani Haryana India.

In 2013 Asian Wrestling Championship Vinesh won bronze medal in 51 Kg category, Silver medal at 2013 Commonwealth Championship and gold medal in 2014 Commonwealth games in 48 Kg category.Β Recently she won Gold Medal in 2018 Gold Coast in 50 Kg weight category.

She did her schooling from Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls’ School, Jaipur.She studied Sociology honours from Jesus and Mary College Delhi. In National shooting championships in New Delhi 2012, she won Gold medal in 10M air rifle shooting. She qualified 2016 Rio Olympics and got 34th rank out of 51 contestants. Recently, 9th April 2018 Apurvi Chandela won branze medal in CWG 2018.
