Freedom Fighter is a persons who takes part in a resistance movement against an oppressive political or social establishment. The men and women of our country have faced a lot of problems by British Government & Dutch people. After a long struggle of our freedom fighters only now we can enjoy our freedom living in India. 1. Sir Chhotu Ram
Sir Chhotu Ram was born on 24th November 1881 Rohtak, Haryana, he was prominent politician in British India’s Punjab Province. He passed intermediate examination in 1903 and went to St Stephen’s College, Delhi for graduation. He belongs to a Jat family and a great freedom fighter of Haryana. In year 1916 Chhotu Ram joined National Congress and become a President of the Rohtak District.

2. Deshbandhu Gupta
Deshbandhu Gupta was born on 14th June 1901 in Badi Pahad area, Panipat, Haryana. He is popularly known as Lala Deshbandhu Gupta. Gupta argued for separation of Haryana and Punjab in assembly. In age of 19 years he married with 17 year old girl Sona Devi. He was a freedom fighter, legislator and journalist. 3. Dharam Singh Hayatpur
Dharam Singh Hayatpur was born on 27th February 1884, he was a prominent member of the Sikh political and religious group the Babbar Akali Movement in India. He was a great freedom fighter and died for his country freedom. Dharam Singh was died in 1926. Many freedom fighter of Haryana was sacrifice their life for freedom of our country.

4. Rao Tula Ram
Rao Tula Ram Singh was born on 9th December 1825 in Rampura, Rewari, Ahirwal, Punjab region. He was a great freedom fighter and key leader of Indian rebellion of 1857 in Haryana. Rao Tula Ram raised a force of about 5000 soldiers and established a workshop for manufacturing guns and other ammunition. 5. Seth Chhaju Ram
Seth Chhaju Ram was born in 1861 at Alakhpura in Bawani Khera tehsil, Bhiwani district, Haryana. He was a philanthropist and undertook many social improvement projects. Chhaju Ram was spent lot of money in social welfare works, he was a great freedom fighter who sacrifice his life for freedom of our country. Many freedom fighters of Haryana was sacrifice their life for freedom.

6. Mool Chand Jain
Mool Chand Jain is a great freedom fighter member of congress party. He was born on 20th August 1915 in Haryana. He and his group fought against the British Sarkar for the independence of his country. He was died on 12th September 1997 in Haryana. He completed his bachelor’s degree from S.D. College Lahore.

7. Ranbir Singh Hooda
Ranbir Singh Hooda was a scion of dynasty politics in Haryana. He is popularly known as Chaudhary Ranbir Singh Hooda. He is a great freedom fighter of Haryana who fought against British Sarkar for the independence of India. He was a member of Indian National Congress party. President Pranab Mukherjee has inaugurated the 100th anniversary celebration of Ranbir Singh Hooda.

8. Nihal Singh Takshak
Nihal Singh Takshak was a great freedom fighter and revolutionary of Haryana who was born in the village of Bhagwi. He was the first MLA from Jind following the election of 1937. He fought against British Sarkar with along with his group for the independence of India. He involved in many moments against British Sarkar.

9. Ganga Singh Gurjar
Ganga Singh Gurjar was a great freedom fighter of Haryana who fought against British Sarkar for the independence of his country. He also took part in Great revolt of 1857. He was captured by British Sarkar and hanged in December 1857. He was a great man who engaged in many freedom fights against British Sarkar.
