12 Best RO UV and UF Water Purifiers In India
RO-RO water Purification technology is basically used for the water treatment. RO stands for Reverse Osmosis. Reverse Osmosis process is the process in which water passes through the semipermeable membrane to purify the water. The function of semipermeable is to absorb the high concentration molecule and released low concentration molecule. So all the impurities dissolved into the water is removed by the semipermeable membrane and release the pure water. Technically we measured the dissolved impurities in mg./ltr. or Parts per million(PPM), and technically we says dissolved impurities TDS (total dissolved solids/salts).
UV- Ultra violet filtration process is the process in which water goes through the ultra violet rays and ultra violet rays deactivate the genetic code of bacteria and virus and resist them for further growth in future. Hence, this technology used where the water TDS is low or under the range of 200 ppm.
UF- Ultra filtration process is the process in which low TDS water <200 ppm goes through the ultra filtration membrane which have very small 0.1 micron pore size. Ultra filtration process resist the bacteria, virus etc. but it does not remove salts. So it is suitable for TDS level up to 200 ppm.
